믿음이 있을 때 절대 부족과 주림이 없다

잠10:24-25

생명의 말씀

“악인에게는 그의 두려워하는 것이 임하거니와 의인은 그 원하 것이 이루어지느니라 회리바람이 지나가면 악인은 없어져도 의인은 영원한 기초 같으니라”

하나님께서는 당신의 백성들이 결코 주리거나 부족함에 직면하는 것을 원치 않습니다. 믿음으로 제물을 드린 아벨은 제물뿐 아니라 아벨 자신까지도 열납하셨으나 가인의 경우는 그의 제물과 가인 자신도 받지 않으셨듯이(창4:4-5), 믿음이 있는 백성들을 기뻐 받으시고 그들에게 복주시기를 원하시는 분입니다. 그러면 어떠한 사람들이 이러한 복을 받게 될까요?

첫째, 믿음이 있는 사람들만이 부족과 주림이 없는 복을 받게 됩니다. 잠10:3절에 보면 “여호와께서 의인의 영혼은 주리지 않게 하시나 악인의 소욕은 물리치시느니라”고 말씀하고 있습니다. 여기서 말하는 ‘의인’은 하나님을 믿는 자를 가리킵니다. 그러므로 믿음이 있는 자에게는 결코 주리지 않게 해주시는 것입니다. 그래서 시34:9-10절에서도 “너희 성도들아 여호와를 경외하라 저를 경외하는 자에게는 부족함이 없도다 ... 여호와를 찾는 자는 모든 좋은 것에 부족함이 없으리로다”고 말씀하고 있습니다. 이처럼 주리지 않고 부족함이 없이 마음 먹은대로 다 이루어지는 세상! 얼마나 복된 세계입니까? 이러한 복을 하나님께서 인정하시는 믿음을 소유한 의인에게 주시되 절대 안전보장으로 책임져 주십니다.

둘째, 믿음이 있는 자에게는 ‘머리’에 복이 임합니다. 성경은 사람의 머리, 즉 정수리에 임하는 복을 최고라고 말씀하고 있습니다. 이러한 복을 받은 성도들은 가는 곳마다 사람들이 찾아오고 물질이 따라옵니다. 창49:25-26절 말씀을 보면 야곱이 자기의 열두 아들을 축복하는 가운데 11번째 아들인 요셉에게는 머리, 곧 정수리에 임하는 축복을 빌어주는 광경을 보게 됩니다. 요셉은 비록 11번째 아들이었지만 모든 형제 가운데 뛰어난 자, 즉 머리로서 장자의 축복을 받았을뿐 아니라 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱, 세 조상이 받았던 복을 다 받았습니다. 이처럼 믿음이 있는 의인의 머리에는 하나님의 큰 축복이 임합니다. 믿음이 있는 참 성도에게는 절대 주림과 부족함이 없습니다. 그 머리에 역대 선지선열들이 받았던 모든 복이 한꺼번에 임하게 됩니다.

하나님의 말씀을 온전히 믿음으로 오늘 하루도 절대 주림과 부족함이 없는 축복, 요셉처럼 정수리에 임하는 복을 받아 누리는 하루가 되기 위해서 기도하십시오.

Where There is Faith There is Never Lack or Thirst

Proverbs 10:24-25

The Word of Life

What the wicked dread will overtake them; what the righteous desire will be granted. When the storm has swept by, the wicked are gone, but the righteous stand firm forever.

God doesn’t want His people to thirst or face lack. Abel who offered up his sacrifice with faith did not only offer money but all of himself. Contrarily with Cain, God did not receive his offering or Cain himself (Gen 4:4-5). God receives His people who have faith with joy and wants to give them blessings. Then what type of person will receive such blessings?

First, the person who have faith will receive the blessing of not thirsting or lacking. In Proverbs 10:3, it says “the Lord does not let the righteous go hungry, buthethwartsthecravingofthewicked.” Here, ‘the righteous’ refers to those who believe God therefore, God doesn’t let the righteous go hungry. Therefore in Psalms 34:9-10 it is recorded “fear the Lord, you his holy people, for those who fear him lack nothing. The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.” How blesses is a world that has no lack or thirst and where everything is done as we wish? The righteous that possess the faith that is acknowledged by God are given these blessings and are kept safe.

Second, the blessing of the head will come upon those who have faith. The Bible deems the blessing of a person’s head, thus a blessing that comes upon the crown of the head as the best blessing of all. The saints who receive this blessing will have people and wealth follow them wherever they go. When we read Genesis 49:25-26 when Jacob blesses his 12 sons, he blesses his 11thson Joseph on the head, hence we see him giving him the blessing of the crown of the head. Although Joseph is the 11thson, he was the most outstanding of all his brothers and not only received the blessing of the firstborn with his head but also received the blessings that his three ancestors Abraham, Isaac and Jacob received. Likewise, the same great blessing will come upon the righteous that are faithful. There is no lack or thirst to a true saint who is faithful. They will receive all the blessings that their prophets received on their heads.

Prayer Title

By believing in the Word of God completely, pray that you may be able to receive the blessing of not lacking or thirsting and like Joseph receive the blessing of the head’s crown.
