생명의 말씀

“주의 집에 거하는 자가 복이 있나이다 저희가 항상 주를 찬송하리이다... 주의 궁정에서 한 날이 다른 곳에서 천날보다 나은즉 악인의 장막에 거함보다 내 하나님 문지기로 있는 것이 좋사오니”

여러분이 교회에 나오는 이유는 무엇입니까? 교회에 나오는 목적은 하나님을 만나기 위해서입니다. 하나님을 만난다는 것은 그분의 말씀을 듣고, 깨닫는 것을 말합니다. 말씀을 들음으로 죄가 달아나고, 회개하고, 결심하게 되고, 말씀을 들음으로 굳센 각오를 하고 새로운 인생의 출발을 시작하게 되는데, 이 모두가 말씀으로 역사하시는 하나님을 만남으로 인해 얻어지는 결과들입니다. 그렇다면 교회에 나와서 이처럼 말씀을 통해 하나님을 만나려면 어떻게 해야 할까요?

첫째는 자신을 비워야 합니다. 자신을 비운다는 것은 영적으로 갈급해하는 상태를 말합니다. 자신의 욕심과 욕망을 버리고, 말씀을 흠모하고 사랑하는 마음으로 나올 때 하나님께서 은혜로 채워주십니다. 욥은 “주신 자도 여호와시오 취하신 자도 여호와”라는 사실을 선포함으로써 자신의 적신(赤身)신앙을 고백하고 있습니다(욥1:21). 욥과 같은 신앙이 바로 자신을 온전히 비우는 신앙입니다.

둘째는 교회를 공경하는 마음을 가져야합니다. 교회는 주님의 몸이기 때문에 인격적인 곳입니다. 그래서 성경은 “내 성소를 공경하라 나는 여호와니라”(레19:30)고 말씀하고 있습니다. 부모나 선생을 공경하듯 주의 몸된 성전을 공경하는 마음을 가지고 나와야합니다.

셋째는 찬송과 기도로 부르짖으며 나와야합니다. 성전은 ‘아버지의 집’입니다. 아버지의 집은 찬양하는 집이요, 기도하는 집이며 말씀을 듣는 집입니다. 예수님처럼 ‘내 아버지의 집’에 거한다는 믿음으로, 힘써 찬양하고 기도할 때 영육간 치료의 기적이 일어납니다. 인생의 가장 아름다운 기쁨, 우리의 모든 행복과 성공은 성전에서 이루어집니다.

교회에 나가 진심으로 하나님을 만나 문제해결을 받기 위해 욥과 같이 마음을 비우는 적신 신앙을 갖도록, 교회를 공경하는 마음과 열심히 찬송하는 능력 받기를 위해 기도하십시오.

The Word of Life

“Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they are ever praising you... Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked”

What is the reason you come to church? The purpose of coming to church is to meet God. By meeting God refers to listening to His Word and understanding it. By listening to the Word our sins disappear and we are able to repent and determine to live a new life. All this is made possible by meeting God who Works through the Word. Then what do we need to do in order to meet God through the Word?

First we need to empty ourselves. To empty ourselves refers to a state of spiritually thirsty. When we dispose of our greed and desires and go forth with an adoration and loving heart for the Word God will fill us with His grace. In Job 1:21, Job is confessing his 적신 faith by confessing that “the LORD gave and the LORD has taken away”. A faith like Job is a faith that completely empties oneself.

Secondly we need to have a revering heart towards the church. The church is a place of respect as it is the body of the Lord therefore it is recorded in Leviticus 19:30 “observe my Sabbaths and have reverence for my sanctuary. I am the LORD.” Just as we respect our parents or teachers we need to come forth to the temple of the Lord which is His body with a heart of reverence.

Thirdly we need to come forth by singing praises and in prayer. The temple is “the Father’s house”. The Father’s house is a home that praises, prays and listens to theWord. When we praise and pray earnestly like Jesus with a heart that we are dwelling in the Father’s house, the miraculous healing of both flesh and spirit will occur. The most beautiful joy in life and all of our happiness and success will unfold in the temple.

Pray that you can go to church with a sincere heart to meet God and resolve your problems, have a faith of emptying one’s heart like Job and receive the heart of reverence for the church and the power to praise zealously.
