속죄의 입성

마21:7-9

생명의 말씀

“나귀와 나귀 새끼를 끌고 와서 자기들의 겉옷을 그 위에 얹으매 예수께서 그 위에 타시니 무리의 대부분은 그 겉옷을 길에 펴며 다른 이는 나무 가지를 베어 길에 펴고 앞에서 가고 뒤에서 따르는 무리가 소리질러 가로되 호산나 다윗의 자손이여 찬송하리로다 주의 이름으로 오시는 이여 가장 높은 곳에서 호산나 하더라”

빛이 없는 도성, 죄악이 득실거리는 도성에서 죽음만 남은 인생들의 죄를 걸머지시고 주님은 십자가를 향하여 입성하셨습니다. 그것은 저주와 죽음과 심판만이 남은 백성에게 생명과 부활과 영생을 주시기 위한 입성입니다. 인간의 생명을 구원하기 위하여 당신의 생명을 처참하게 십자가에 달려 버리시려고 입성하시는 것입니다. 나귀 새끼를 타고 입성하시는 모습만 보지 말고, 인간의 죄를 담당하고 죄를 처분하기 위해서, 사망을 영원히 멸하기 위하여 십자가를 지고 가시는 그 모습을 보시기 바랍니다. 2천 년 전에 입성하신 속죄의 주님, 그 주님이 지금 내 생활 속에, 내 마음 속에, 우리 교회에 입성하셔야만 합니다. 이렇게 엄청난 과업을 가지시고 입성하신 주님, 그것이 하나의 역사적인 사건으로만 끝난다면 고난주간은 나와 아무 상관이 없습니다. 마음을 열고 간절히 원해야만 합니다. 우리 심령의 문을 열고 입을 벌려 ‘호산나!’ 외칠 때 주님은 우리의 마음 속에 입성하십니다.

사랑하는 성도 여러분! 오늘 우리들 마음 가운데 주님이 꼭 입성하셔야만 하겠습니다. 입성하시면 “볼지어다 내가 세상 끝날까지 너희와 함께 있으리라”(마28:20) 하신 말씀과 같이 우리 생애 노정 가운데 늘 주님이 동행하시고, 세상 끝날까지 함께 해주십니다. 주님께서 우리의 가난과 절망과 질병의 문을 활짝 열고 평화와 부요와 건강의 소식을 가지고 입성하시기를 간절히 사모하시기 바랍니다. 예수님께서 찾아주신 가정마다, 사업터마다 축복이 임하였습니다. 예수님만 맞이해 들이면 모든 것을 다 갖게 됩니다. 주님은 모든 것의 모든 것이 되시기 때문입니다(골2:2-3). 주님이 입성하지 않으면 성전이 아니라 창고에 지나지 않습니다. 예수님이 없는 개인, 가정, 사업체나 교회는 성령이 떠나고 형식만 남은 곳입니다. 우리 주님의 영광의 입성이 우리의 삶의 터전과 교회에 임하여야만 하겠습니다.

고난의 한주간은 우리 주님의 승리의 입성으로부터 시작됩니다. 나귀 타고 오신 주님이 나의 삶의 현장과 심령 속에도 들어오심으로 고난의 한주간, 주와 동행할 수 있도록 기도하십시오.

The Word of Life

"And brought the donkey and the colt, and laid their coats on them; and He sat on the coats. Most of the crowd spread their coats in the road, and others were cutting branches from the trees and spreading them in the road. The crowds going ahead of Him, and those who followed, were shouting, "Hosanna to the Son of David; BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD; Hosanna in the highest!"

City without any lights, city overflowing with sins, people waiting for death – that is the city Jesus entered bearing humankind’s sins. He entered the city to give life, resurrection, and eternal life to people judged with curses and death. In order for God to save the people, Jesus entered the city to give up His life on the cross. Just by observing Jesus entering the city on a colt shows you that He came to bear all of humankind’s sins; He came to overcome death for once and for all. Lord of atonement entered the city 2,000 years ago. That Lord has just entered in your life, in my heart, in our church. He entered with such a huge burden, however if this was to end like this then there is no reference to you. You need to sincerely open your heart. Open you heart and call out with your mouth “Hosanna!” Then Jesus will enter your heart.

Beloved brethren! Our Lord must enter your heart today. When He enters, know that He said “and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:20). He is always with you through the end of this world. Our Lord has opened your poor, grieve stricken, and ill door and filled it with peace, riches, and health – therefore welcome Him with open hearts. Jesus has blessed families and businesses that have welcomed Him. Only when you welcome Jesus then you obtained everything. Jesus is everything among everything (Colossians 2:2-3). If Jesus does not enter the church, it becomes storage.

Individuals, families, businesses, and churches without Jesus’ presence have lost the Holy Spirit. We need Jesus’ glorious welcome in our lives and in our church.

The Passion Week began with the victorious entrance. Let us pray during this Passion Week, we can enter with Jesus as He rides on a colt entering the city.
