십자가의 결과

사38:17

생명의 말씀

“보옵소서 내게 큰 고통을 더하신 것은 내게 평안을 주려 하심이라 주께서 나의 영혼을 사랑하사 멸망의 구덩이에서 건지셨고 나의 모든 죄는 주의 등 뒤에 던지셨나이다”

예수님께서는 아무런 죄도 없으심에도 불구하고 자진해서 하나님의 형체를 버리고 종의 형체를 취하여 십자가를 지셨습니다. 아니 주께서 이미 육을 입고 오신 것 자체가 이미 십자가라 할 수 있습니다. 주님의 그러한 고난과 십자가 사건의 결과는 무엇일까요?

첫째, 우리의 죄를 멀리 날려 버리셨습니다. 시103:12절 말씀을 볼 때 “동이 서에서 먼 것처럼 우리 죄를 멀리 옮기셨습니다”.

둘째, 나의 모든 죄를 주님의 등 뒤로 던지셨습니다. 사38:17절에 “나의 모든 죄는 주의 등 뒤에 던지셨나이다”라고 분명히 말씀하고 있습니다. 등 뒤에 던졌다는 말은 완전히 버렸다는 뜻입니다.

셋째, 나의 죄를 도말하고 사라지게 했습니다. 사44:22절 말씀과 같이 “네 죄를 안개의 사라짐같이 도말하였다”고 하였습니다. 하나님과 나 사이에 이제 죄의 담이 사라졌으니 “너는 내게로 돌아오라 내가 너를 구속하였음이라”고 말씀합니다.

넷째, 나의 죄를 절대 기억하지도 않으십니다. 렘31:34절 말씀에 “내가 그들의 죄악을 사하고 다시는 그 죄를 기억치 아니하리라”고 하셨습니다.

다섯째, 나의 죄를 덮으셨습니다. 시85:2절 말씀에 “주의 백성의 죄악을 사하시고 저희 모든 죄를 덮으셨나이다”라고 하였습니다.

여섯째, 죄를 발견치 못하도록 해주셨습니다. 시32:1절에 “허물의 사함을 얻고 그 죄를 가리움을 받은 자는 복이 있도다”라고 하신 것처럼, 주님의 십자가는 나의 죄를 발견치 못하도록 해주셨습니다.

일곱째, 죄를 죄로 인정치도 않으십니다. 롬4:8절에 “주께서 그 죄를 인정치 아니하실 사람은 복이 있도다”하심과 같습니다.

<기도제목>

주께서 십자가에 달리신 결과 나의 모든 죄는 완전히 사함을 입고 도말되었습니다. 오늘 하루도 이러한 주님의 은혜에 감사하며 보답하기 위해 더욱 헌신하고 충성하는 삶을 살수 있도록 기도하십시오.

The Word of Life

"Lo, for my own welfare I had great bitterness; It is You who has kept my soul from the pit of nothingness, For You have cast all my sins behind Your back.”

Jesus who committed no sins took upon Himself to bear all our iniquities and gave up His position with God, took the form of a servant, and hung on the cross. He was already carrying His cross when He was born on this earth. Then what are the results from the cross of suffering of Jesus?

1. Our sins are sent far away. He has wiped the sins away. Psalm 103:12 As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us.

2. Our sins are cast back from Jesus’ back. It is not visible and unrecoverable. God will take our sins away and will not return them. Isaiah 38:17 "Lo, for my own welfare I had great bitterness; It is You who has kept my soul from the pit of nothingness, For You have cast all my sins behind Your back.

3. Our sins have disappeared. Isaiah 44:22 "I have wiped out your transgressions like a thick cloud And your sins like a heavy mist. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you."

4. God will not remember our sins.Jeremiah 31:34 "They will not teach again, each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD,' for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them," declares the LORD, "for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more."

5. God covered our sins up.Psalm 85:2 You forgave the iniquity of Your people; You covered all their sin.

6. God will conceal our sins Psalm 32:1 <A Psalm of David. A Maskil.> How blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered!

7. God will no longer acknowledge our sins. Romans 4:8 "BLESSED IS THE MAN WHOSE SIN THE LORD WILL NOT TAKE INTO ACCOUNT."

"Prayer Request"

When Jesus hung on the cross, all our sins were completely wiped away. Let us pray that we can live our lives with grace of thanksgiving and loyalty to God.
