가라사대 아멘의 하나님

창1:3-7

생명의 말씀

“하나님이 가라사대 빛이 있으라 하시매 빛이 있었고 그 빛이 하나님이 보시기에 좋았더라 하나님이 빛과 어두움을 나누사 빛을 낮이라 칭하시고 어두움을 밤이라 칭하시니라 저녁이 되며 아침이 되니 이는 첫째 날이니라”

창세기 1장의 창조기사에서 발견할 수 있는 특징은 하나님께서 ‘가라사대’ 말씀하셨고 말씀하신 그대로 모든 피조세계가 ‘아멘’하며 창조되었다는 사실입니다. 그러므로 가라사대 아멘의 하나님은 하나님 자신의 주권과 전능을 나타내 줍니다. 사람도 ‘가라사대’라고 말은 하지만 말한대로 ‘아멘’하여 성취되질 않습니다. 반면에 하나님의 ‘가라사대’는 말씀 하시는대로 ‘아멘’하여 성취되고, 그 이루어진 것이 보시기에 좋았습니다.

그래서 창세기 1장의 특징은 ‘그대로 되니라’는 말씀으로 요약할 수 있습니다. 빛이 있으라 말씀하시면 빛이 하나님의 의도대로 그대로 존재하였습니다. 궁창이 있으라 하면 이 또한 그대로 창조되었습니다. 그대로 되고 마는 아멘의 세계, 바로 하나님 자신의 세계였습니다. 만족의 세계요 기쁨과 즐거움과 뜻이 그대로 성취되는 세계입니다. 이처럼 하나님의 가라사대 아멘의 말씀에는 결과가 있을 따름입니다. 그것은 완성의 세계이며, 그 완성의 결과는 하나님 자신의 지혜와 능력입니다. 하나님은 그러한 성취의 결과를 보고 기뻐하시는 분입니다. 그러므로 전체 성경의 역사는 하나님의 시작하신 일의 결과를 명백하게 계시하고 있습니다.

계시록에 보면 사도 요한은 예수 그리스도에 대한 호칭으로 ‘아멘’이란 독특한 칭호를 사용하고 있습니다. 여기서 ‘아멘’이란 말은 ‘진실로, 참으로’란 뜻으로 동사로는 ‘의지한다’는 말로 사용됩니다. 또한 ‘가라사대’란 말은 ‘하나님께서 말씀하시기를’이란 의미를 지닌 말입니다. 이를 종합해 볼 때 하나님은 말씀하시고, 그 말씀하신대로 진실되게 성취하시는 하나님임을 알 수 있습니다. 이것이 성경 창세기부터 계시록에 나타난 일관된 하나님의 속성입니다. 오늘 여러분은 어떠한 말을 하고 있습니까? 가라사대 아멘의 하나님이 보시기에 좋은 열매를 맺고 있습니까?

“가라사대 아멘”의 하나님의 능력을 받아 오늘 하루 여러분의 말과 행실 가운데 ‘아멘’으로 이루어지는 축복을 위해 기도하십시오.

The Word of Life

3And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. 5God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day. 6And God said, “Lett here be a vault between the waters to separate water from water.” 7So God made the vault and separated the water under the vault from the water above it .And it was so.

A distinct feature we see in the creation in Genesis chapter 1 is that whenever God “said” all creation replied “amen” and were created. Therefore this process shows us God’s authority and omnipotence. Humans also “say” things however what they say isn’t fulfilled by saying “amen”. On the other hand whatever Words God speaks is fulfilled with “amen” and what was created looked pleasing in his eyes.

Therefore Genesis chapter 1 can be summarized as “it was done as he said”. When God said “let there be light” light existed just as God had planned and when he said let there be the heavens it was done. The world of amen where everything was done according to his will was the world of God himself.

It was the world of satisfaction and a world where the will of joy and happiness was fulfilled. In this way following the Word of God are results. It is a world that is complete, the outcome of completeness being God himself, his wisdom and power. God sees the results of fulfillment and rejoices thus the entire history of the Bible clearly reveals the outcome of the Work that God begins.

In the book of Revelations we see the apostle John call Jesus “amen”. Here, “amen” meaning “truth or truly” is used as a verb which means to “rely on” and the word “said” means “God is saying”. When we combine these words we can see that God says and He truly fulfills according to what He says. This is the nature of God that is persistently seen throughout the Bible from Genesis to Revelations. What words are you speaking today? Are you bearing good fruit that are good in the eyes of God?

Pray that today you will be able to receive the power of God and receive the blessing of “amen” upon all your words and actions.
