비와 물의 은혜

시78:20

생명의 말씀

“저가 반석을 쳐서 물을 내시매 시내가 넘쳤거니와 또 능히 떡을 주시며 그 백성을 위하여 고기를 예비하시랴 하였도다”

물은 대자연의 생명력의 표현이며 모든 만물을 정화하며 생성케 하는 신비한 힘을 가지고 있습니다. 나아가 물은 우리 몸 속에 에너지를 전달하는 중요한 역할을 하고 있습니다. 물을 통해 영양을 섭취하고 혈액을 몸 구석구석에 전달해 주는 역할을 하기 때문에 신체의 70% 이상이 물로 구성돼 있습니다. 따라서 물이 좋지 않으면 건강에 이상이 옵니다. 반면에 깨끗하고 좋은 물을 마실 때 무병장수의 축복이 주어지는 것입니다. 특별히 물에 대한 연구로 세계적 명성을 얻은 일본인 에모토 마사루는 눈의 결정 모양처럼 물 또한 접하게 되는 정보에 따라 결정모양이 다르게 나타나는데, ‘감사’, ‘사랑’ 등의 긍정적인 말을 들으면 물의 결정이 육각수로 변한다고 합니다.

성경은 하나님께서 ‘물과 양식’에 복을 주셔서 병을 제하신다고 말씀하고 있습니다(출23:25). 그러므로 감사함으로 물과 양식을 먹을 때 물은 우리 몸에 아주 이로운 육각수의 형태로 변하게 됩니다. 고대 헬라 밀레토스 학파의 조상이요 과학의 창시자였던 탈레스는 우주의 근원을 물로 설명하고 있습니다. 성경도 땅이 혼돈 공허의 상태일 때 이미 하나님은 ‘수면’에서 운행하셨다고 말씀하고 있습니다(창1:2). 에덴 동산의 창조에 있어서도 하나님은 창조의 중점을 ‘물’에 두고 있습니다. 그래서 에덴 동산에 물 근원이 있었고, 이 근원으로부터 네 강이 흐르게 된 것입니다(창2:10-14).

모세는 광야에서 반석을 쳐서 물을 냄으로 이스라엘 백성들에게 생수를 공급해 주었습니다. 반석에서 흘러나온 물은 큰 시내로 흘러 넘쳤습니다(시78:20). 천국에도 수정같이 맑은 ‘생명수 강’이 흐릅니다(계22:1-2). 천국뿐 아니라 우리가 사는 세상에서도 문명이 발생하고 도시가 발단된 곳은 반드시 강을 끼고 있습니다. 이를 볼 때 물이야말로 하나님께서 인류에게 주신 가장 큰 생명의 축복인 것입니다.

<기도제목>

하나님께서 허락하신 물과 비의 은혜에 감사하며 먹고 마실 때 우리 몸의 병을 제하시고 생명의 축복을 받게 됩니다. 오늘 하루도 하나님의 사랑과 생명의 축복을 먹고 마시는 은혜를 체험할 수 있도로 기도하십시오.

The Word of Life

"Behold, He struck the rock so that waters gushed out, And streams were overflowing; Can He give bread also? Will He provide meat for His people?"

Water represents life for nature and has the mysterious power to purify and create. Furthermore, water has an important role in our body – it spreads energy throughout our body. Water enables our body to receive nutrition in every section and our body composition is made up 70% water. If the water is not good then our body is not healthy. In contrary, if the water we drink is clean and good then our body is blessed with good health. Masaru Emoto, the Japanese scientist who became renown after his research on water proved that water is changed by the words we say. He froze the water and examined the crystal created by the water under a microscope. When the water heard words like “thanksgiving” and “love”, beautiful crystals were formed.

In the Bible, God has blessed our food and water so that illnesses are healed (Exodus 23:25). Therefore, when you offer thanksgiving, the food and water that enters will enable your body to be fully nourished. The Greek philosophers stated that water is the source of the universe. In the Bible, it states that when the earth was formless and void, the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters (Genesis 1:2). God focused the creation of Garden of Eden with “water”. Therefore, the source of water was in Garden of Eden and from that source, four rivers flowed (Genesis 2:10-14).

Moses struck the rock and water gushed out to feed the Israelites. The water that gushed from the rock flowed like a river (Psalms 78:20). In Heaven, there is “river of life” clear as crystal that flows (Rev 22:1-2). Not only in Heaven, but the development of

civilization has allowed the world easy access to rivers. You can see that water is a true blessing of life from God. 

 

"Prayer Request"

When we offer thanksgiving for the grace of rain and water, and for the food we eat, our body is completely healed from any illnesses. Let us pray that we can dwell in God’s love, and eat and drink with the blessing of life.
